Kyra started a mental health club at her school and hosted a suicide prevention awareness walk to benefit her community.

Kyra Berry received her Gold Award in 2016 for starting an annual suicide prevention walk, which she chairs to this day, as well as a Stress Less club in high school. As the chairperson of the annual Burlington County Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention, Kyra manages a team of volunteers to promote the event and secure sponsorships and participants. To date, the walk has raised over $262,000 and garners more than 400 walkers each year. Kyra is a recent graduate of Loyola University Maryland and has her Bachelor's in Public Relations and Advertising. Her favorite Girl Scout cookies are Lemonades, and she loves to play with her cat, Theo, and raise monarch butterflies in the summer.
