My name is Hailey, and I have been a girl scout for eight years. I started as a second-year junior and bridged last year as an ambassador into adulthood. Throughout my eight years of scouting, I have created lifelong friends, learned the importance of advocacy, participated in countless take-action projects, and tried to make the world a better place. I am also a founding member of Troop 6000, the first Girl Scout troop designed for women and girls living in the New York City shelter system. My mother came up with the idea of starting the troop back in 2017 when we were living in the shelter ourselves. I am currently a first-year at St.John's University and am majoring in business in hopes of one day starting my own.
