Therese is a 2020 National Gold Award Girl Scout. Her project was the creation of the world's first campus sexual assault database.

More about Therese: Therese Malinowski has been a Girl Scout since kindergarten, and has served in two troops and later as a Juliette. Her thirteen years in scouts were largely spent exploring the outdoors and participating in community service. In early high school, her troop earned their Silver Award for the construction of a local Little Free Library, and Therese later went on as a Juliette to earn her Gold Award for the creation of the world's first campus sexual assault database. Being a Girl Scout supported her passion for STEAM topics, strengthened her leadership abilities, and gave her the outlook that life is ultimately one fantastic adventure. She is currently attending Purdue University with the intent to major in aerospace engineering, and is currently a member of the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics as well as a cellist in the Purdue Philharmonic Orchestra.
