Carley built a community garden and put on a Face Book Live event with an Olympian to teach others about nutrition. Carley also creates clothing from recycled materials found around the home.

Harrisburg Native Carley Furlow is a Freshman at Penn State Harrisburg. Furlow part takes in many community activities. In addition to being so involved in the community Furlow also is a fashion designer. Furlow put out a collection in September of 2020 after the pandemic and it is also recycled sustainable clothing. Furlow also took 2nd place at the PA Farmshow in 2020. There is never a spare moment in Furlows life. She put together a community little local free library and is a girl scout. During the Pandemic she donated 1000+ masks to frontline and essential workers and held community craft classes via zoom. Furlow is studying business at PSUH hoping one day she can open her own business geared towards Fashion.
